FAA Leases 116K SF in Relocation of Regional Headquarters
Avison Young has negotiated a 115,937-square-foot office lease at Atrium, 3800 Golf Rd. in Rolling Meadows, IL, with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on behalf of the building owner, Spear Street Capital. The agency is relocating its regional headquarters from Des Plaines, IL.
Principal Fred Ishler and associate Allie Cooney, based in the firm’s Chicago office, and Ed Gregorowicz of Avison Young’s Government Consulting Services practice, represented Spear Street. The FAA was represented by JLL’S Hugh Murphy, Delario Bolton, Kasey Hughes, and Clarissa Mahoney-Pascascio.
“This is one of the largest deals in the Northwest Suburban market within the last several years,” Ishler said. “The tenant found that the building’s ability to accommodate the FAA’s large office space requirement on a single floor was advantageous for the FAA’s space utilization.” The property’s proximity to Woodfield Mall, with its retail and shopping options, was another factor, added Ishler.
