Extell Tops Out on 68-Story Brooklyn Point
Extell Development’s first Brooklyn project, Brooklyn Point, has topped out. Rising to 720 feet high, the 68-story residential condominium building within the larger City Point mixed-use project is now Brooklyn’s highest tower.
“As the tallest building in the borough, Brooklyn Point represents a milestone for Brooklyn,” said Ari Alowan Goldstein, SVP of development at Extell. “The Brooklyn marketplace now competes with Manhattan and has significant demand for Extell quality homes.”
Construction is progressing on schedule at Brooklyn Point, and first closings are slated to commence in early 2020.
Brooklyn Point is the only for-sale residential building within the 600,000-square-foot City Point, which was developed by a consortium known as Albee Development LLC. Other components of City Point include Trader Joe’s, Target, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Century 21 and a 40-vendor food hall, DeKalb Market Hall.
Pricing for the studio to three-bedroom condo units starts at $850,000.
