Expedia Signs 38,000-SF Lease

Expedia has inked a deal for 38,000 square feet at 645 Elliot Ave. W., and will move in this summer.  The deal is the company’s first in Seattle, but not its last.

The acquired space is in preparation for the company’s 2019 relocation to the former Amgen campus, which was announced last year. The travel company is interested in determining “how our employees and our broader community will experience our new headquarters,” according to a company statement.

The leased space is near the company’s future corporate campus, and will help Expedia determine which employees will relocate.

Developer Martin Selig owns the building.
