Expansion Continues at North Carolina Industrial Park

The Hollingsworth Companies is starting the second facility in a four-building expansion at its SouthPoint Business Park in Mocksville, NC. The development follows a more than 75-acre expansion launched last year at the industrial park located adjacent to Interstate 40, 60 miles north of Charlotte.

This 10th building, a 253,180-square-foot industrial building, will be a steel and masonry facility, with 30-foot clear heights, 60-foot by 60-foot column spacing and high intensity LED lighting. The ninth building in the park, a 108,960-square-foot facility built on spec, is currently available for lease by a light manufacturing and/or distribution company.

Two additional buildings are planned in the park: a 152,160-square-foot facility that can be expanded to 238,590 square feet, and a 130,344-square-foot facility that can be expanded to 259,944 square feet. Both are expected to be constructed in 2019.
