Exiger First to Claim Subleased Space at 1675 Broadway

After being tasked with subleasing 600,000 square feet at Rudin Management’s 1675 Broadway, CBRE has completed its first major transaction under the assignment: a 30,900-square-foot sublease with Exiger Holdings. A financial crime, risk and compliance solutions company, Exiger plans to relocate its corporate office from 1095 Ave. of the Americas.

The CBRE team of Gregg Rothkin, John Maher, Paul Myers, Mike Wellen, Alex Bennisato and Cara Chayet represented the sublandlord in the 11-year deal. Exiger will move into 1675 Broadway later this year.

“This availability has generated a unique opportunity of high-quality, move-in ready sublease space with the capacity to accommodate tenants of various sizes and industries,” said Rothkin.

Owned by Rudin Management, 1675 Broadway is an 800,000-square-foot Art Deco-style office tower. It’s home to a number of finance and legal tenants, including law firms Davis & Gilbert, Ballard Spahr and Roberts & Holland, and fintech firm Bankrate.

Connect New York 2020 is set to take place on Wednesday, April 29 at Upper Story by Charlie Palmer. For more information, or to register, click here.
