Executive-Level Changes Continue at Vacasa

A pair of former OpenTable executives are joining the leadership team of Portland-based Vacasa, a vacation rental management platform. Mike Dodson is taking a permanent role as chief revenue officer, and Mike Xenakis comes on board as interim chief product officer.

Dodson will be charged with aligning the company’s corporate development, sales, revenue management and homeowner marketing teams, to optimize new customer acquisition efforts while increasing revenue for existing Vacasa homeowners.

Dodson was former SVP of global sales and customers relations for OpenTable, and Xenakis was former managing director of OpenTable International. Vacasa is searching for a fulltime CPO, as well as a chief marketing officer.

The moves follow the recent decision by the company to eliminate Scott Breon’s position of Chief Analytics Officer and head of revenue, and the departure of his brother Eric Breon, who left the CEO post last month. In February, Vacasa appointed Matt Roberts, former OpenTable CEO and independent Vacasa board director, as interim CEO.
