392-Unit Bend at Oak Forest in Houston sold by Excelsa Properties

Excelsa Properties Unloads Houston Multifamily Asset

Excelsa Properties bought the Bend at Oak Forest in 2019 and did a lot of work on it. They improved landscaping, repaired roofs and redid 57 units out of the 392 in the community which was built in 1972. Besides the renovations, Excelsa Properties rebranded the property and brought in a new management team. Excelsa’s Jon Woods said the plan paid off, “We vastly improved the physical and operating parameters of Bend, that succeeded in transforming the community and resident experience it offers.”

Excelsa acquired the asset in a joint venture deal with GoldCor Capital Partners. It’s situated in the Northwest/Oak Forest submarket in Houston.
