Exact Capital Partners with Bronx Shepherds on Affordable Rehabs

Exact Capital has renovated and preserved 333 affordable residential rental units and four retail spaces in 19 buildings located throughout the Bronx. Exact partnered with Bronx Shepherds Restoration Corporation in this preservation project.

The renovated buildings include 17 walkups and two elevator buildings, ranging from two to seven stories. Renovations involved new roofs, boilers, repointing, refreshed common areas, new kitchens and upgraded bathrooms.

“We are proud of our role rehabilitating and preserving much-needed affordable housing in the Bronx,” said Craig Livingston, managing partner of Exact Capital, adding that “these buildings are sound housing stock, well-suited for preservation.”

He said the buildings are located in the Bronx’s Soundview, Claremont Village, University Heights and Longwood neighborhoods.

Financing for the multisite Bronx affordable housing rehab was provided by TD Bank, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and the NYC Employee’s Retirement System via the Community Preservation Corporation.

Connect Texas Multifamily will take place August 15, 2019 in Dallas. For more information, or to register, click here.
