EW Howell Launches Interiors Division
EW Howell Construction Group has formed a dedicated Interiors Construction Division, reestablishing a line that was part of its platform in the 1990s. The new division will be led by industry veteran Robert Hohmann (pictured), who joins as VP.
Hohmann brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, including more than two decades as principal of AJS Project Management, a leading Manhattan interiors general contracting firm.
Acting as principal, he built projects for clients including JP Morgan Chase, Queens College, 21st Century Fox, Greenberg Traurig, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Alzheimer’s Association and Touro College. He’s a construction resource for many of the city’s prominent owners and property managers, including Colliers International, Jamestown and RFR Holdings.
“We have undertaken some of the most complex construction projects in Manhattan, and we look forward to taking on the distinct challenges of interiors work,” said company president Howard Rowland.
