Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington has taken occupancy of a new 119,000-square-foot warehouse and four–acre transportation yard in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood.

As the future home of Evergreen Goodwill’s Georgetown Operations Center, the company expects the site at 5940 and 5980 1st Ave South in Seattle to be up and running by December 2025. It will enable the organization to reduce environmental impact, support future growth and streamline processes. The new Georgetown facility will allow the organization to centralize e-commerce operations, improve logistics for its fleet of trucks, and streamline inventory.

The organization anticipates nearly $4 million in operational savings over the next three years. “We are excited to have a new facility for both our employees and our operations,” said Libby Johnson McKee, President and CEO at Evergreen Goodwill. “It creates a modern logistics and operations workplace for our employees and will allow us to greatly increase our positive impact in the community.”
