Evanston Parcel Will Become Day-Care Center

SVN Chicago Commercial recently brokered the sale of an 11,250-square-foot building on a 15,050-square-foot development lot in downtown Evanston, IL. The site sold for $2,300,000 to a buyer with plans to convert the site for child-care use.

Angelo Labriola and Paul Cawthon of SVN Chicago Commercial were the sole advisors in the transaction. “The new buyer plans to convert the property previously owner-occupied by Audio Consultants into a national day-care expanding within the Chicagoland marketplace,” said Labriola.

He added that the site’s new owner “saw great potential with its proximity to the Metra & CTA Purple Line train. The property is two adjoined buildings with a large first floor, partial second floor and included a parking lot in the rear creating the potential for a private outdoor play area making the site an ideal conversion.”

Connect Industrial Midwest is coming to Rosemont, IL on March 4. For more information, or to register, click here.
