B&B Hotels, known mainly for its large number of offerings in Europe, has chosen Jacksonville for its second US hotel. The group recently opened up a hotel in Orlando.
The Jacksonville property will have 156 rooms. The company purchased the shuttered Diamond Inn Motel (photo) at 5929 Ramona Blvd. B&B’s Velario Duchina added, “The hotel will undergo a complete renovation, and it will be opened in the first months of 2025. This is another big step in the development of B&B HOTELS in Florida and the U.S.”
B&B Hotels describes itself as “Europe’s fastest growing midscale hotel brand.” In 2023, the brand added 170 hotels and achieved a revenue of $1.3 billion. B&B Hotels opened in Brest in 1990 and now boasts a portfolio of nearly 800 hotels spanning 17 countries.
