Essex Realty Closes on Auburn Gresham Sale

Essex Realty Group has arranged the sale of 7800 S. Paulina St. in the Far South Side’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood. The 15-unit apartment property traded for $725,000. Buyer and seller were not disclosed.

7800 S. Paulina was built in 1920 and renovated in 2017. The property includes three three-bedroom, six two-bedroom, three one-bedroom and three studio apartments. It’s currently 100% occupied, primarily by market-rate tenants.

Brian Mond was the broker on the transaction. He recently arranged the sale of 4625 S. Drexel Blvd., a 62-unit apartment building located within an opportunity zone in the South Side’s Kenwood neighborhood.
