1201 W. Addison in Wrigleyville has sold for more than $518,000 per unit

Essex Lists Corner Walkup Building in Wrigleyville

Essex Realty Group, Inc. has been selected to market 1201 W. Addison St. in the North Side’s Wrigleyville neighborhood. Principals Jim Darrow and Jordan Gottlieb have listed the corner walkup brick building at $6,400,000.

Totaling 12 apartments, the unit mix is comprised of two, three, and four-bedroom floorplans. Completely renovated in 2017, the apartments include quartz countertops, two-tone kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances and custom tile backsplashes in the kitchens. The apartments also include hardwood floors, individual HVAC, washer/dryer in-unit and individual back decks.

1201 W. Addison is situated on the southwest corner of Addison Street and Racine Avenue,a block west of Wrigley Field. Located on a tree-lined street, the property benefits from the neighborhood’s low vacancy rates and close proximity to public transportation and Chicago’s lakefront. Essex says this investment opportunity offers the rare chance to own a stately corner building in Wrigleyville.
