Essex Lands San Jose MF Near Google Village for $104M
Meridian at Midtown, a 218-unit luxury apartment community in San Jose, has traded hands for $104 million. San Mateo, CA-based Essex Property Trust acquired the property from Republic Urban Properties LLC.
The community is situated at 1432 W. San Carlos St., less than one mile west of downtown and just north of Interstate 280. Built in 2015, the mid-rise property has roughly 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and offers a range of amenities. They include three state-of-the-art fitness centers, conference rooms, a resort-style pool with cabanas, community lounge space, dog park, outdoor courtyard, playground and ground-floor retail
HFF’s investment advisory team representing the seller included Scott Bales, Peter Yorck and Eric Bet. HFF also procured the buyer.
