Essex Completes Deals in Edgewater, West Ridge

Essex Realty Group recently completed two North Side apartment property sales: the 23-unit 6100-6104 N. Paulina St. in Edgewater, and the 16-unit 2134-2136 W. Arthur Ave./6510 N. Hamilton Ave. in West Ridge. The combined purchase price was just over $4.5 million.

In one deal, Essex Realty’s Matt Feo represented the seller of 6100-6104 N. Paulina, a red-brick walk-up building just north of Andersonville. Feo and his colleague Doug Fisher represented the buyer in the $2.35-million transaction. A repositioning is planned.

In the other deal, Essex Realty’s Abe Eilian and Doug Fisher represented the seller and Feo represented the ultimate purchaser of 2134-2136 W. Arthur (pictured).

The property, which traded for $2,151,000, was owned by the same family for more than 25 years, and received many capital improvements during the holding period. It’s within walking distance of Devon Avenue, home to a number of boutique shops and restaurants.
