Essex Brokers Sales of Three South Side Apartment Buildings
Chicago-based multifamily brokerage firm Essex Realty Group, Inc., has closed on three multifamily properties consisting of 37 total units located on Chicago’s South Side.
Essex’s Berman-Anguiano Team of Robert Berman, Michael Anguiano, Daniel Shabsin, Jeremy DeMarco,
and Joe Kahlhammer exclusively represented the three private sellers of these buildings. The transactions include the sale of 7957 S. Ellis Avenue, a 15-unit apartment building, 7430 S. Vernon Avenue, a 12-unit apartment building, and 7846 S. Exchange Avenue, a 10-unit apartment building.
7957 S. Ellis Ave. and 7430 S. Vernon Ave. were sold to local groups while 7846 S. Exchange Ave. sold to
an out-of-state investor. “We’ve seen an increase in buyer demand for these South Side assets as mortgage rates have started trending downward,” said Robert Berman, Essex Realty Group Managing Director.
