Essex Brokers Sale of Sauk Village Apartment Complex

Essex Realty Group has negotiated the sale of a ten-building multifamily portfolio consisting of 180 total units. The portfolio sold for $9 million, or $50,000 per unit.

The buildings are located on the same site at 2610 Marigold Dr. in Chicago’s southern suburb of Sauk Village. The portfolio featured a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, as well as common area laundry and on-site parking for tenants.

The Essex team of Michael Anguiano, Robert Berman, Jeremy DeMarco, Daniel Shabsin, and Joe Kahlhammer facilitated the transaction on behalf of the private seller. “The out-of-state buyer was attracted to the portfolio because of the scale and the success they’ve achieved with nearby multifamily projects,” said Anguiano.
