Essex Brokers 34-Unit Chicago South Side MF Portfolio

Chicago-based multifamily brokerage firm Essex Realty Group, Inc. has negotiated the sale of five apartment buildings across Chicago’s Englewood, Chatham, and Auburn Gresham neighborhoods. Essex’s Berman-Anguiano team of Robert Berman, Michael Anguiano, Daniel Shabsin, Jeremy DeMarco, and Joe Kahlhammer facilitated the transaction on behalf of the private seller.

The properties, located at 5621 S Green St, 7153 S Parnell Ave, 7816 S Marshfield Ave,7912 S Ellis Ave, and 9130 S Throop St, featured a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units.

“The buyer’s interest in the portfolio was piqued by its stable nature and advantageous unit mix. The
buildings had undergone meticulous maintenance throughout the owner’s tenure,” said Essex Realty
