Essex Realty Group, a Chicago-based multifamily brokerage firm, completed the sale of a two-building, 26-unit multifamily portfolio located in Chicago’s South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Located at 8301 S. Paulina St. and 1469 W. 83rd St., each building features 13-units and a mix of two- and three-bedroom units. The properties were substantially occupied at the point of sale. Essex Managing Directors Robert Berman and Michael Anguiano, along with Associates Daniel Shabsin, Jeremy DeMarco, and Joe Kahlhammer, represented the private seller in this transaction. The properties were sold for a combined total of $1.7 million.

“We were able to procure multiple competitive offers for the seller to choose from, the demand for multifamily remains strong on the south side,” said Robert Berman. Essex also recently closed another transaction with two multifamily properties in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
