essensys has appointed Daniel Brown, a 15-year veteran of SaaS tech companies and flexible office real estate, as chief revenue officer

essensys Names SaaS Veteran as Chief Revenue Officer

essensys, a global software and technology company digitally enabling buildings, spaces and portfolios, has appointed Daniel Brown as group chief revenue officer. Brown will lead essensys’ revenue function, connecting sales, revenue operations, and marketing for the company as it continues to scale its business globally. 

“I am excited to welcome Dan to essensys; his industry expertise makes him perfectly positioned to continue to drive forward growth, and to support our customers as the flexible office market continues to expand globally,” said Mark Furness, co-founder and CEO at essensys.   

Brown has more than 15 years’ experience in recurring revenue and scaling organizations, working with SaaS tech companies and flexible office real estate. Prior to essensys, Brown worked for WeWork, where he built, directed and scaled global sales, strategy and operations for the company’s All Access business line. Most recently, he worked for Giraffe360, where he led global sales.

Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
