ESRT Signs, Renews Finance Tenants at One Grand Central

Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT) renewed Charles Schwab’s 10,702-square-foot retail lease at One Grand Central Place. The REIT also signed life insurance brokerage Winged Keel Group to 12,724 square feet of office at the Midtown tower.

“Charles Schwab recognizes the value and convenience to their customers of being located directly across from Grand Central Terminal,” said Thomas P. Durels, EVP, real estate for ESRT.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Steve Soutendijk, Colliers International’s David Green and Scopa CRE’s Paul Spiegel represented Charles Schwab. Landlord representation was provided by ESRT’s Fred C. Posniak.

In the Winged Keel lease, Colliers’ Reid Longley and Robert Kennedy represented the tenant. Landlord representation was provided by Julie M. Christiano and Leslie Nadel of ESRT, along with NKF’s William Cohen, Scott Klau, Erik Harris and Neil Rubin.
