ESRT Secures Trio of Midtown Office Leases
Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT) has signed two new leases and a renewal in its Midtown Manhattan office portfolio over the past two days. In the most recent transaction, trust and estates firm Davidson, Dawson & Clark LLP renewed its 12,715-square-foot One Grand Central Place offices for 11 years.
Norman Bobrow and David Badner of Norman Bobrow & Co. represented the tenant. Ownership was represented by ESRT’s Ryan Kass and Newmark’s Erik Harris, Neil Ruben, Scott Klau, and William Cohen.
Earlier this week, specialty insurance provider Argo Group signed a full-floor, 30,002-square-foot lease at 501 Seventh Ave. JLL’s Owen Hane and Kevin Duffy represented Argo.
Ownership was represented by ESRT’s Kass and Keith Cody and Cushman & Wakefield’s Ron LoRusso, Patrick Murphy, Pierce Hance, Heather Thomas and Will Yeatman.
In another full-floor deal, Playfly Sports LLC committed to 29,566 square feet at 1333 Broadway. Savills’ Michael Mathias and Richard Johns represented Playfly.
Ownership was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s LoRusso, Robert Lowe, Anthony LoPresti, Dan Organ and Maria Travlos and by ESRT’s Kass, Cody and Shanae Ursini.
