ESRT Expands Midtown Portfolio’s Food Offerings
Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (ESRT) has added three retail tenants to expand the portfolio’s food offerings, with leases signed with Panera Bread, Playa Bowls and Le Café Coffee at three of its New York City office and residential properties.
Panera Bread will relocate from ESRT’s 10 Union Square with a lease signed for a 2,100-square-foot retail space at 1359 Broadway. RIPCO’s Andrew Mandell represented Panera, while ESRT’s Fred C. Posniak and RIPCO’s Morgan Singer and Samuel Martorella represented ownership.
At 1350 Broadway, Playa Bowls leased 1,385 square feet. Cushman & Wakefield’s Abie Dwek represented Playa Bowls, while Posniak, Singer and Martorella represented ESRT.
At 561 Tenth Ave., Le Café Coffee signed its third lease with ESRT for 822 square feet. Yoel Gorjian of Winick Realty Group represented Le Café . Posniak and Winick’s Steven E. Baker, Charles Rapuano and Thomas Galo represented ownership.
