Escondido Valley Center Backfills Sports Authority Space
HomeGoods and ALDI joined the retail mix at Escondido Valley Center in Escondido, CA. The retailers will serve as the center’s newest anchors, and will backfill former Sports Authority space.
The HomeGoods store encompasses more than 24,000 square feet, and the ALDI store will be nearly 22,000 square feet. Situated at the southwest corner of West Valley and Auto parkways, the 127,436-square-foot shopping center is majority-owned by Paragon Commercial Group.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Bruce Schiff and Phil Lyons represented the landlord.
Schiff said, “Adding such a large home furnishings store and grocer in HomeGoods and ALDI gives a tremendous boost to this already stout mix of retailers, creating even more synergy.”
