Ermenegildo Zegna Signs for 20K-SF with SL Green

Leading Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna will bring its corporate offices and showrooms to 10 E. 53rd St., leasing 20,000 square feet of the boutique trophy asset.

“This is yet another endorsement of the success of the building re-positioning as one of the finest boutique office towers in the Plaza District,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing for SL Green.

SL Green recently completed a $30-million renovation of the building, which includes a new and expanded lobby, redesigned façade, new windows, new plazas, new elevator cabs, public area art program and enhanced infrastructure. The tower is now 84% leased, up from its low point of just 10% before the renovation.
