Erin Spears Rejoins Fifield Companies as President

Chicago-based Fifield Companies has hired Erin Spears as president of the national development firm, which is expanding its presence in major Southeast and Southwest markets. She’s rejoining Fifield from Heitman, where she was EVP of acquisitions.

“Erin’s combination of developer and institutional experience makes her the perfect fit for president as Fifield Companies grows its development work in Phoenix, Denver, Miami and other markets in the Southeast and Southwest,” said Fiefield founder and CEO Steve Fifield. “With Erin at the helm alongside Kevin Ferrell as COO, our team has never been stronger and more well-rounded, especially as we pursue more institutional partnerships.”

Prior to joining Heitman in 2018, Spears spent eight years at Fifield and was SVP of acquisitions, responsible for sourcing acquisition and development opportunities, while also overseeing operations in the Chicago office. Previously, she was VP of multifamily investments at Pearlmark.
