Equus Divests 22-Property MF Portfolio for $467M

Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. divested a 22-property, multi-housing portfolio located in eastern Pennsylvania for $467 million. The properties sold in phases to different undisclosed buyers throughout 2017, with the most recent closing at the end of September.

The properties were located in suburban Philadelphia, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Wyomissing, Lehigh Valley and northeastern PA. The properties offered diversity of size, ranging from 50 units to 400 units, as well as vintage, ranging from the early 1960s through the mid-2000s.

HFF’s Mark Thomson, Carl Fiebig, Francis Coyne, Jose Cruz and Matthew Lawton marketed the properties in six sub-portfolios, on behalf of the Philadelphia-based seller. Additionally, the HFF team worked on behalf of the new owners on a number of the transactions to secure acquisition financing.
