Equity Residential Snags $266M in Sale of Luxury Upper West Side Rentals
A CBRE team led by Darcy Stacom, chairman of NYC Capital Markets, arranged the $266-million sale of a 354-unit luxury rental apartment tower at 140 Riverside Blvd. on Manhattan’s Upper West Side to New York-based apartment investor A&E Real Estate. CBRE represented seller Equity Residential.
“140 Riverside Blvd. is a standout in the New York market, situated both waterfront and park-front with direct access to the Hudson River Park system,” said Stacom, who partnered with team member Ryan Silber on the sale. “The property has been meticulously maintained and is truly excellent real estate – as this transaction validates.”
Completed in 2003 as Trump Place, the tower includes commercial space leased to the Dwight School and a veterinarian as well as amenities, including a gym, interior courtyard and multiple tenant lounges. It offers views of the Hudson River and proximity to Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, and Central Park
