Equitable Relocates Headquarters to Fisher Brothers Tower
Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company has signed a long-term headquarters lease, reportedly for 130,000 square feet, across multiple floors of Fisher Brothers’ 1345 Ave. of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan. Currently located at 1290 Ave. of the Americas, which is owned by a partnership of Vornado Realty Trust and the Trump Organization, Equitable will take over the space in 2023.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company to 1345 Ave. of the Americas,” said Ken Fisher, partner at Fisher Brothers. “Our capital investments in 1345 Avee. of the Americas have completely transformed the office tower, surrounding plaza and park through modern design and substantial infrastructure upgrades to accommodate a variety of renowned tenants from notable industries.”
Marc Packman, head of leasing and Clark Briffel, director of leasing at Fisher Brothers, led negotiations on behalf of ownership. Equitable was represented by JLL’s Matthew Astrachan, Daniel Turkewitz and Allison Melichar.
