EQT Adds Full Floor to 245 Park Ave. Footprint

SL Green Realty Corp. said Monday that EQT Partners, a global investment organization with a 30-year track record across multiple geographies, sectors and strategies, has signed a 38,358 square foot expansion lease covering the entire 32nd floor at 245 Park Ave., its 1.8-million-square-foot office tower in Midtown East now undergoing redevelopment. The expansion brings EQT’s total commitment to 114,562 square feet on floors 32-34.

“We’re delighted to expand our valued relationship with EQT as we advance a transformative redevelopment of 245 Park Ave.,” said Steven Durels, SL Green’s EVP, director of leasing and real property. “Midtown leasing velocity continues to accelerate, punctuated by exceptionally strong submarkets like the Park Avenue and Grand Central corridors.”

EQT Partners was represented by Michael Movshovich and Ethan Silverstein from Cushman & Wakefield. SL Green was represented by Bruce Mosler, Harry Blair, Ron LoRusso, Justin Royce, and Pierce Hance from Cushman & Wakefield.
