EQ3 Will Follow Up Downtown Store with Lincoln Park Site
Canada-based EQ3, a manufacturer and retailer of modern furniture, will follow its recently-opened first Chicago store with a second one this summer. The company said Thursday it would open in the North Side’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, but did not specify a street address.
Complementing the product mix at the Downtown store, the Lincoln Park location will showcase larger deep-seated sectionals, dining tables, credenzas and more. When EQ3 opens in New York later this summer, the product lines will introduce smaller sofas and modular furniture, including expandable tables, storage and accessories.
“We want to inspire customers to come across a variety of items they maybe didn’t know they were looking for, solutions they didn’t know they needed, and introduce them to newly-released designs in a unique way,” said EQ3’s Thom Fougere. “Our goal was to add clarity and ease, empowering customers to make design decisions personalized to them.”
