EQ Office Plans Tenant Club, Other Upgrades at 1740 Broadway

EQ Office has commenced an extensive renovation at 1740 Broadway, intended to offer employees more optionality in how they work. The transformation of 1740 Broadway includes a redesign of the entrance and lobby and the creation of a private tenant club, set to open in the spring of 2020.

As part of the renovation, EQ Office is working with design studio INC to design the Club, a 15,000-square-foot private gathering space on the circa-1950 office tower’s second floor. The Club will feature a wellness center, food service from John Fraser’s onsite restaurant and a lounge area, along with conference rooms.

“Our public spaces and common areas are extensions of the workplace,” said EQ Office’s Simon Wasserberger.  “Following the completion of this redesign, our tenants will have a platform to foster their own cultures, and give their employees a variety of ways to work.”
