EQ Office Names SVP, Social Impact and Sustainability
EQ Office has appointed Samantha Sims as SVP, social impact and sustainability, effective immediately. Based in New York and reporting to EQ’s CEO Alex Vouvalides, Sims will help shape and lead Chicago-based EQ’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) program across the company and its assets.
Sims brings more than 18 years of experience building and leading global sustainability strategies, programs, and teams to enhance operations, create value, and drive change at scale across multifaceted organizations. Most recently, she served as VP, ESG at Warner Music Group, where she established the company’s first ESG platform and co-founded the industry’s first collective effort to confront climate change.
“Sam’s multi-industry experience will bring fresh perspective and innovation to EQ, and I’m excited to watch our program evolve under her guidance,” said Vouvalides.
