EQ Office Hires Merredith Treaster to Oversee NorCal Portfolio

EQ Office, Blackstone’s US office portfolio company, hired Merredith Treaster as its SVP, Northern California, based in San Francisco. She will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the existing Northern California portfolio totaling 1.4 million square feet across San Francisco, Silicon Valley and San Jose, as well as helping to shape company strategy in the region.

“With Merredith’s proven track record as an established leader in the region and her impressive work on notable projects in San Francisco like Salesforce Tower and Park Tower, she is an ideal fit for this role,” said Alex Vouvalides, CEO at EQ Office.

Treaster brings nearly 20 years of experience to EQ Office, most recently serving as managing director for Nuveen’s U.S. Strategic Lab Vehicle. She previously worked at Hines, Tishman Speyer and The John Buck Company overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and asset repositioning.
