EQ Office Completes Redevelopment of Seattle Office Tower
Real estate investment firm EQ Office and Olson Kundig architects have completed the redevelopment of 800 Fifth, a Class A office tower in Downtown Seattle. The makeover, centered around wellness and collaboration, includes a reimagined lobby, a fitness center and a public garden.
“In an office environment that has forever changed, EQ Office has reimagined 880 Fifth, creating an environment where creativity, collaboration and community meet, bringing the best of home, hospitality and office together,” said the firm’s Portfolio Director Zach Zaborowski.
Details of the renovation include a modernized, 16,000-square-foot entry and lobby, a 16,000-square-foot public garden and plaza with an outdoor fireplace and event space and flexible social gathering spaces throughout the property. Elements designed to evoke feelings of warmth and tactility include white oak and exposed steel, suspended lantern lighting, customized bookcases, integrated artwork, a cantilevered retail bar and an elevated terrace featuring native plants.
