EPIcenter Event Looks at How Sustainability Can be Cost Effective

EPIcenter, a nonprofit energy innovation hub, will bring together project experts to highlight how sustainability can be cost effective. Its Global Lecture Series IX – Sustainable by Design: The Credit Human Headquarters Story is scheduled for today at 4:00 p.m. CDT.

This event will address the economic rationale behind the project, the challenges of implementation and lessons learned. Panelists include Credit Human CEO Steve Hennigan, Glumac high performance building leader Steve Straus and Kirksey Architecture vice president and director/Central Texas David Dalton.

EPIcenter’s mission is to propel energy innovation and future thought with a think tank, incubator and accelerator, strategic partnerships and critical conversations. The Global Lecture Series is an EPIcenter Energy Think Tank program designed to expose wider audiences to trends in the energy industry.

Lisa Brown has decades of experience in corporate communications and marketing management with organizations including Coldwell Banker Residential, Grubb & Ellis, Marcus & Millichap, NAIOP, SIOR and ALM. In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
