EOS Investors Acquires Embassy Suites by Hilton in Georgetown

Privately-held real estate investment firm EOS Investors LLC has acquired the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. Georgetown, a 197-room hotel in D.C.’s West End neighborhood adjacent to historic Georgetown. The sales price was not disclosed.

The property underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2016 that included an upgraded lobby with a full-height atrium. The hotel is also home to Hilton Grand Vacations, a members-only vacation program with locations across the United States. Hotel features include on-site restaurant, District Tap, serving dinner and cocktails nightly, a 24-hour fitness center and an indoor pool.

“EOS is excited to expand its hospitality footprint in the D.C. region, which attracts nearly 25 million visitors annually and is poised to be one of the best-performing top-25 markets in the United States in the coming years, ” said Jonathan Wang, president of EOS.

“The Embassy Suites D.C. represents the type of high-quality asset in a desirable market that EOS seeks in each of our investments.  We look forward to continuing our positive working relationship with Hilton in the months and years ahead as we build upon the success they have already achieved at the Property,” Wang added.

The seller was undisclosed.
