Engineering Firm Expands Presence at DTLA Tower

Connect Los Angeles is today at the Hotel Indigo in DTLA. There’s still time to join us. Here is where to get more information and REGISTER.

NKF negotiated a 10-year, 24,000-square-foot lease on behalf of KPFF at The Bloc in DTLA, bringing its commitment at the 33-story office tower to 48,000 square feet. The engineering firm’s civil engineering group already occupies 24,000 square feet at the property.

KPFF’s new space will be located on the 20th floor,  just below that group for better collaboration. The firm will occupy temporary space at The Bloc during the roughly 12-month buildout.

NKF’s Craig Kish represented the tenant.

“KPFF engaged NKF in 2017 with the goal of consolidating its West Los Angeles and Pasadena offices–which totaled just over 30,000 square feet–and relocating to downtown Los Angeles. We successfully subleased its West LA offices, and are in the process of subleasing its Pasadena space,” said Kish.

Located at 700 S. Flower Street, The Bloc totals 720,000 square feet and is owned by The Ratkovich Company.
