Engel Burman Opens Assisted Living Facility in Jericho

The Engel Burman Group (EBG) recently held a ribbon-cutting to open the Bristal at Jericho, the seventeenth Bristal community in EBG’s assisted living portfolio. The property is located at 310 Jericho Tpke. in the Nassau County hamlet of Jericho, NY.

The 200,000-square-foot, three-story residence is situated on nine acres. It offers 180 apartments, comprised of 144 assisted-living units and 36 memory-care apartments.

“We are dedicated to meeting the growing demand for senior/assisted living residences on Long Island, which has a higher share of adults over 55 than any other suburban community in New York,” said Jan Burman, EBG president.

The Bristal at Jericho is located on the same campus as the Bristal Grand, a luxury rental community for those 55 and over, scheduled to open in May.

EBG has six more assisted-living communities in the pipeline.
