Engel Burman Names CFO for Construction Division

Jericho, NY-based developer Engel Burman has hired Daniel Daragiu as CFO for its construction division. He’ll be responsible for all financial management of the division, which currently has several hundred million dollars of construction activity underway in the New York metro area, with considerably more expected to commence within the next 24 months.

With 15-plus years of senior-level roles in the real estate and construction industries, Daragiu comes to Engel Burman from Blue Industries in North Brunswick, NJ. Prior to that he was CFO for New York City-based Danya Cebus.

Scott Burman, principal of Engel Burman and president of EB Construction, said, “The recent and planned growth of Engel Burman’s construction activity creates the need for senior-level staffing growth. We need talented people like Daniel to support us. We all look forward to working closely with him.”
