Energy Storage Operator Ready for Move into New N. Texas HQ
Construction is proceeding at microgrid systems producer ELM MicroGrid’s new 125,000-square-foot facility in The Colony, where it plans to expand its energy storage and management systems. ELM’s microgrid and solar operations currently are based in a 25,000-square-foot facility in Lewisville, with 35 engineering and manufacturing employees on-site. Both businesses, ELM Microgrid and ELM Solar, will make the move to The Colony once construction is complete later this year. This will create the need for approximately 65 additional manufacturing and engineering team members.
ELM MicroGrid specializes in the capture and storage of energy for use in commercial and industrial applications.
Started in 1998, ELM Companies develop solutions for energy and utility services that assure compliance with regulations, improve grid reliability, and streamline distribution. The company’s energy storage solutions are implemented for utility companies, the U.S. Military, and large enterprises.
