Endeavor Moving Ahead on Plans for Long-Held Austin Parcel
Endeavor Real Estate Group has stood pat on a property at 600 E. Riverside Drive for 11 years.
The Austin Business Journal reports the firm recently filed a planned unit development (PUD) application for a 1.75-acre property that would have 200 residential units as well as 8,000 square feet for restaurants or retailers. The building could be up to 510 feet tall. The site is currently home to a gaming arcade. (Photo)
If the PUD is approved, it will join several other major projects proposed in Austin’s South Central Waterfront area. Others include Hunt Companies’ plans to build three mixed-use towers at 200 E. Riverside Drive and a 480-foot tower at 311 – 315 S. Congress Ave.
Endeavor is also overseeing the redevelopment of the old Austin American-Statesman office site and a 21-acre site along the Colorado River in East Austin.
