Empyrean Renews 108K-SF Deal at Pinnacle Westchase

Empyrean Benefit Solutions Inc. opted to stay put at its current Houston-area digs in the 470,940-square-foot Pinnacle Westchase office building. To that end, the tenant, which manages employee health and welfare benefit programs, renewed its 108,109-square-foot headquarters space at 3010 Briarpark Dr. in the metro’s Westchase submarket.

NKF’s David Husid represented the tenant in negotiating the renewal with landlord Treeview Real Estate Advisors of New York.

The transaction is a follow-up of a short-term sublease, which was inked in 2017; Husid led the team representing Empyrean in that deal, as well. Following in-depth due diligence and examination of other potential headquarters options throughout the Houston area, the tenant decided to remain in place for its long-term renewal.

“Empyrean had a relocation requirement to manage its constant year-over-year growth,” Husid said. “The company wanted to expand the operational office vision and presentation to better serve both employees and visiting clients.”
