Empresa Meets 1031 with $16M Multifamily Buy

Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) investment specialist Raymond S. Choi has completed the $15.7 million sale of a 44-unit multifamily asset to Empresa LLC. The seller of the property, located at 4720 Hawley Blvd. in San Diego, CA, was an unnamed personal trust represented by Choi.

Frank Dinari at Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates represented Empresa, a platform from out of the area which was completing a 1031 tax deferred exchange. MMI’s Chad O’Connor, senior managing director capital markets, arranged the financing for Empresa.
