Empire Communities hopes to get Atlanta city approval to build a 455-unit multifamily community next to a Topgolf at 1280 Chattahoochee Ave. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the proposed project is across from The Works, an 80-acre mixed-use project with shops, restaurants and a rental community.

The project is expected to include 105 for-sale townhomes, 350 rental apartments and 747 parking spaces. It would be 75 feet tall and span about 448,000 square feet of gross leasable area.

Design firm Kimley-Horn prepared the project’s site plan.

The property at 1280 Chattahoochee Ave. is under contract for an undisclosed price.
