Empire Group Starts Site Work on New Peoria Rental Community

Scottsdale-based developer, Empire Group of Companies commenced construction on its latest build-for-rent community in Peoria. Village at Pleasant River, located at 115th Avenue and Happy Valley Road is the company’s second community development in Peoria and ninth in the West Valley. Village at Pleasant River will include 246 single-family, single-story homes for rent. Lifestyle Homes was selected as the general contractor for the project.

“We anticipate leasing to begin by early 2024 just as the new Taiwan Semiconductor plant is planned to open. There are also many other companies and organizations coming to the Valley, in close proximity to our community,” adds Empire’s Richard Felker.

Village at Pleasant River is situated on a nearly 25-acre site and will include a gated entry, a resort-style pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a community lounge. Each home will feature open floor plans, a private backyard with doggy door access, smart home technology, plus additional storage and two parking spaces.
