Emodo Lease Caps Busy Year at Moinian’s 72 Fifth Ave.

With the completion of a new transaction with educational technology company Emodo, The Moinian Group has leased 38,000 square feet of space in the past year at its 72 Fifth Ave. property, with seven tenants each signing full-floor leases. The total activity accounts for approximately 64% of all leasable space in the 12-story loft office property in Midtown South.

“We made the strategic decision to offer built and furnished space at 72 Madison Ave. to smaller space users even as the office sector at large is still finding its footing,” said Ted Koltis, EVP of commercial leasing for The Moinian Group.

Koltis added that the Colliers agency leasing team of Christel Engel, Robert Ptacek, and Franklin Wallach continues to see strong activity for the only two floors available at 72 Madison.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Daniel R. Organ and Ryan McMahon represented Emodo in its 5,354-square-foot lease.
