Emmes Returns to Orange County with $220M Centerview Acquisition
May 5, 2017
New York-based The Emmes Group of Companies acquired Main Plaza, a roughly 625,000-square-foot property in Irvine, CA from San Francisco-based Shorenstein for a reported $220 million. The two 12-story office towers were renamed Centerview East and West.
Emmes Realty Advisors’ Mike McCann said, “Emmes is thrilled to return to the Orange County market with the acquisition of Centerview.”
Located in the Irvine Concourse master-planned business park, the assets include 2010 Main St., a 286,747-square-foot building, and 1920 Main St., a 287,682-square-foot building. The property also includes two retail pads occupied by El Torito Grill and McCormick & Schmick’s restaurants.
Extensive improvements are planned for the property, including modernizing building systems, renovating common areas and adding additional on-site amenities.
Orion Property Partners’ Jay Carnahan is handling leasing at Centerview.
