Elkay Relocates Business Teams to Downers Grove

Elkay Manufacturing has signed a new lease for 47,073 square feet at 1333 Butterfield Rd. in Downers Grove, IL. The kitchen sink company will relocate two of its market-facing business teams from 29,325 square feet at the company-owned 2222 Camden Ct. in Oak Brook, IL to Downers Grove in August.

Colliers International Chicago’s Dan Arends represented Elkay in the transaction. Two teams will make the move to Downers Grove: Elkay’s plumbing and water delivery business, and its commercial and industrial business. The company’s headquarters and associated operations will remain in Oak Brook.

The lease represents an opportunity for Elkay to expand in a property that is conveniently located near its corporate headquarters and central to its employee base. “We want to create an inspiring space for our market-facing teams that is fresh and new, with a contemporary vibe that aligns with our brand,” said Elkay Plumbing president Ted Hamilton.
